“We are Pocket Typewriter, made up of Leckie & Jack, a brother/sister team based in the Midlands. We are passionate about what we do and that is creating beautiful and unique wedding stationery. It all started 1 year ago when I (Leckie) got engaged and Jack designed my wonderful wedding stationery. It was so beautiful that people started asking me where they could buy something similar….light bulb moment….and Pocket Typewriter was born!!!!
“We have had such a great year, where we have started to sell our wedding and greetings cards in hand selected boutique shops, developed new designs, added the option of bespoke wedding stationery, wonderful favours, bunting…..and the list goes on. We are so excited about the possibilities, we are a creative company and so if you have a specific idea for your wedding, we would love to work with you to create something special and unique!
“We love the romance of vintage and draw inspiration from all things vintage….china, lace, garden parties, the whole ethos of throwing a massive celebration….and doing it properly!…We love to create something that sets the tone for the exciting celebration to come….the wedding of the year!!! Everyone should want to achieve this too! It’s great to mix vintage with the new, we think it gives you the perfect combination!
“Your wedding should always reflect who you are as a couple and family. But we are seeing a strong following still for the whimsical, romantic, vintage vibe. Soft pastel colours for the summer months and rusts and silvers are great in the winter months as you can still achieve the soft, romantic feel.
We were not at the Designer Vintage Bridal show in February but we are really looking forward to meeting brides, grooms, bridesmaids, mother-of-the-brides to be! We are excited to talk to you all about our beautiful stationery and what we could do to make your day extra special. Can’t wait!”
